Dr. Jennifer Purcell

Dr. Jennifer Purcell is the proud owner of Eastern Shore Pet Hospital.  Dr. Purcell entered the veterinary field in 1999 and went on to graduate from Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Her professional career started outside of Birmingham, AL but she moved to Fairhope in 2012 and has practiced companion animal medicine in Baldwin County ever since.  Eastern Shore Pet Hospital is a way for Dr. Purcell to finally bring her services to the community she loves.  She loves connecting with clients and takes pride in the quality care she provides to her patients.  She loves patients at all life stages and appreciates being part of every step of their healthcare journey from puppy/kitten shots to surgery to end of life care and everything in between.  Her favorite part of practice is simply building relationships which translates into better care for her patients.  Outside of practice Dr. Purcell spends most of her time with her husband, three sons, and their rescued dogs “Gus” and “Evinrude (Evie)”.  You’ll also probably catch her running down by the bay, visiting friends, or cheering on her boys at the ball fields. Go Pirates!!

Teresa Pacheco

Teresa has been in the veterinary field since 2018. She has lived in Baldwin County most of her life. When she was four years old she discovered her love for animals and that’s when she knew she wanted to work with animals. Her ultimate goal is to finish school and get her degree to become a veterinarian. She is known to some as the “young cat lady” since she has 8 cats! She also has 3 dogs, 2 bearded dragons, and a turtle. She just loves them all! Though she knows we aren’t supposed to have “favorites”….her favorite is her 6 year old Doberman who is in a wheelchair. Thankfully he is doing great!! You will see Teresa in all aspects of the hospital as we get started. She will assist Dr. Purcell with patient care from your first phone call all the way through each visit. She is ready to welcome you to Eastern Shore Pet Hospital!
